Kids Kala is designed for children aged 3–8 years old. The large, colorful tiles and voice guidance make it easy for even the youngest learners to use independently.
No. Kids Kala works completely offline after downloading. No internet connection is required to trace letters, hear voice guidance, or earn stars.
Absolutely not. Kids Kala collects no personal data, analytics, or device information. All progress (stars earned) is stored locally on your device only and never leaves the device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The current version is completely free, ad-free, and contains no in-app purchases. Your child can learn without interruption.
After tracing a letter or number, tap the Check button. Kids Kala analyses your child's drawing and awards 1–3 stars based on how closely it follows the guide. Stars are saved so kids can track their improvement!
On the home screen, tap the 🔢 Numbers tab at the top to switch to number tracing (0–9), or tap 🔤 Alphabets to go back to letters.
You can reset all progress by deleting and reinstalling the app. We're working on adding a reset option in Settings in a future update.
Make sure your device is not on silent/mute mode. On iPhone/iPad, check the Ring/Silent switch on the side of the device. Also check that the volume is turned up.
